Terms and Conditions 

Your use of the PCLive Computers web site (the "Site") and our services, including phone orders and inquiry, is governed by the policies, terms, and conditions set forth below. Please read the following information carefully. By using this site or submitting an order for products or services, you indicate your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not submit any orders for products or services. The terms and conditions posted on this website, including the RMA policy, are public information and must be adhered to by anyone doing business with PCLive Computers unless there is a written contract signed by an officer of PCLive Computers. 

Trademarks

All trademarks and registered trademarks displayed on the site are the trademarks of their respective owners, and are not intended to imply any endorsement or affiliation between PCLive Computers and these companies.

Making Purchases

If you wish to purchase products offered on the site, you will be asked to supply certain information, including but not limited to credit card or other payment information. For credit card payments over $500, you may need to provide a photocopy of your Drivers License. You agree that all information you provide to PCLive Computers will be accurate complete and current. You agree to pay all charges incurred by authorized users of your account and credit card or other payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred. You will also be responsible for paying any applicable taxes, and shipping and handling charges relating to your purchases. You agree that 2% surcharge applies for all credit card payment. You agree that we can manually debit 2% surcharge from your credit card after you pay by credit card online. 2% surcharge applies for all paypal payment. We will send you paypal payment request for 2% surcharge after you pay by paypal online. You agree that all goods will not be shipped untill you pay for 2% surcharge. No surcharge for bank deposit/transfer and cash payment.

All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. PCLive Computers is not responsible for typographical errors. All typographical errors are subject to correction. All product images are for illustration purposes only and may vary from the actual product.


When we ship

Most orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business days from the date of the order. Your order may be delayed if your ship to address does not match what your credit card issuer has on their file. We verify all addresses for protection against fraud. Some orders that are shipped from fulfillment warehouses may require longer for the item to ship. We may also ship the orders with multiple items from different warehouses so it is possible you get the items on different days. Due to the many circumstances such as unable to charge your card or verify your address, we cannot guarantee when your order is shipped out. Also if you choose Australian Post Express Post service, it does not necessarily mean you will get it the next day from the order date, it means that you will get it the next day from the date we ship the order. If the delivery area is outside express post networks, Australia Post cannot deliver next day. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during delivery. Insurance is recommended for valuable items. You agree that insurance is not included in regular or express postage. To add insurance, you need to email or call us before items are shipped.

Pricing and Typographical Errors

Due to the fast pace of the computer industry, all prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to list the most accurate, up to the minute information. Despite our efforts, some items on our website may be mis-priced. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical, photographical, or technical error or error in pricing from our vendors, PCLive Computers reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for a product listed at the incorrect price. If your credit card has already been charged for the incorrect price, we will immediately refund your card and cancel your order. You may also repurchase it for the correct price if you wish to.

We can match competitor's instore pricing if customers require, but only if the competitor has stocks. A genuine quote from the competitor is required for price match.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or phone order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. PCLive Computers reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Warranty and RMA policy

For us to stay competitive, offer the best service and the lowest price, we follow our return policy strictly and do not make any exceptions. Shipping is non-refundable under all circumstances, an exception may be made if PCLive Computers made an error in the entering the address or shipping method, but only for an adjustment. Buyers pay for one-way return postage for warranty item returns.

All returns will be tested. Return for replacement found to be non-defective will result in a handling fee of $25. Customers agree that they will abide by the findings of our technical support department. Customers agree to report lost or damaged shipping claims to PCLive Computers within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. Failure to do so results in the forfeiture of any possible remedy from PCLive Computers.

Customers agree that monitors, printers and networks products can only be returned to manufacturers for replacement/repair except in cases of shipping wrong item or clear shipping damage. In general, the period for credit/refund and replacement of allowable items are 7 days except as noted. Past the 7 days, contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement/repair. For items that manufacturer will not warranty directly, customers can return the items to us for warranty. We may post the replacement in 1-2 working days if we have stock. Otherwise we will return faulty items to our supplier or the manufacturer for warranty. It may take upto 2 months for warranty replacement or repair from our supplier or the manufacturer. PCLive Computers does not offer advanced replacement. Customers must pay for return shipping on all returns, including DOA product. The quickest way for us to be able to handle a return for you is for you to accept delivery and then contact us about sending the item back. We cannot process your return until we receive the product.

  • Software: Software is non-returnable once you have opened the package, if it has a defective CD, we will replace it with the same exact title only. We do not guarantee that you will like the software you purchase or that it is compatible with your system, so please contact the publisher if you have questions before you buy.

 

  • Hardware: If you have received an item and you think it is defective, please contact the technical support department at the manufacturer before you email/call us for an RMA number or support. Most of our returns turn out to be working after our technicians tested them. We do not guarantee against incompatibility since we do not know your system configuration so please check with the manufacturer to find out if the product you want will work with your system. You also need to make sure you have the appropriate bus/slot/port for the item you are purchasing. If we receive an item that is tested to be non-defective, we will return the same item back to the customer after the $25 handling fee and return postage are paid by customers.
  • Printers: Printers, whether working or defective, are non-returnable/non-exchangeable once opened. We only sell full retail versions of printers that can be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty service.
  • Custom Built Computer Systems: All our custom built systems are backed by our industry leading 2 years return-to-base warranty. If you need help with your system please email or call us. We only offer help for the system and the software we sell you, if you purchase additional hardware or software and are not able to install it, you need to call the manufacturer for technical support.


Return Procedures

A RMA (Return Material Authorization) number must be obtained from PCLive Computers before any goods are returned. No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number. To request a RMA number, please log in your account to apply and our warranty department will email you a RMA number shortly.

Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 you may seek a refund if goods:

• are or become faulty through no fault of your own
• are not fit for a stated purpose or a purpose you made known to our sales staff
• don’t match our description or sample
• have defects that were not obvious or we did not bring to your attention.

If the goods being returned have had a fair amount of use then you may be entitled to a partial refund only or to repair or replace the product instead.

All returns must be received within the 10 days of RMA approval date. Make sure the RMA number appears clearly on the shipping label of the return shipment, and include a copy of your original invoice as well as a brief statement of the problem or instructions as to whether it is a credit return or exchange. Make sure all the information in RMA form is accurate to avoid unnecessary delay. In the case of any product(s) returned for any reason, the returned item(s) must be 100% complete, in original and re-salable condition, with all packaging, manuals, registration card(s), accessories and software. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet these requirements. Shipping and Handling Fees are not refundable, with the exception of orders incorrectly shipped by PCLive Computers.
